The unique feature of finned tubular heaters is the large heat-emitting surface which is advantageous for heating air or other gases. The finned tubular heater surface enlargement is made by spiraling a thin metal plate around an electrically resistive heater or by mounting rectangular plates, also called fins.
IHPs finned tubular heaters are made in straight lengths or made in desired forms such as U-, M- or S-form. In the manufacture of for example air heating batteries and duct heaters, many finned tubular heaters are used together in a frame or duct.
Common applications for finned tubular heaters are duct heating, radiators, convectors, load banks, frost protection, sterilization equipment, ovens and more.
IHP also provides a standard range on stock items for faster delivery.
